ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL YOUR CHILD SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Backpack

• Lunch, in a lunch box (we can not refrigerate; no rice, or pasta with red sauce)

• If staying until 1pm, bring 1 snack, 4pm snack is provided

• Refillable water bottle with straw (no screw off lids; bring only water)

• 2-3 changes of clothes AND underwear for ALL ages

• Napper? They will need a small sleeping bag or mat (No bigger than 24” x 48”) & blanket for the child to rest on - Melrose does NOT provide these for you. The mat will go home at the end of each week to be washed and returned the following week.

ITEMS FOR THE CLASSROOM TO SHARE

• 2 Glue Sticks or 1 Bottle of Glue

• 1 Box of Kleenex Tissues

• 1 Bottle Hand Soap (Dye-free and Eco-friendly)

• 1 Roll Paper Towels

• 1 Package of Baby Wipes (natural, unscented)

ITEMS FOR YOUR CHILD TO KEEP AT SCHOOL

It is helpful to buy gently used items to keep at school, as these items need to stay here at all times. 

All items MUST be labeled with first and last name:

• Rain Jacket & Rain Boots

• Reusable Fork & Spoon

• 2-3 changes of clothes AND underwear for ALL ages

• Cozy indoor shoes or slippers
