Preschool
Age 2
Preschool means playing but also involves making friends, growing to love one another, and learning by doing. Our school setting is a home-like environment that will give your child the chance feel comfortable, to grow, and to THRIVE.
In this stage in development, children are growing their skills in the art of taking turns and using their words with kindness.
The majority of our day is focused on Conscious Discipline and helping children talk with their peers. The children are kept active engaged and have a variety of activities to choose from each day at Melrose. Since our brains are pattern seeking, we ensure the day stays on a schedule and repeat routines, so that each child feels at ease in their day.

Preschool
Age 3
We encourage our three year old preschoolers to take on a little more responsibility within the child’s class family. Children are supported to take greater charge for their personal belongings, their actions, and their surroundings.
One of our most important roles is to teach children about the importance of treating everyone around us with respect and kindness.
By giving each child the essential life skills they need to navigate a wide range of environments, our children can thrive.
Our classrooms provide a team structure where everyone works together to get the jobs done and each child feels supported.
